Monday Music: RIP Teena Marie

If there was ever someone who deserved a nomination for honorary Black woman it's the lovely Teena Marie. One of the greatest R&B voices of her generation. Not great for a white woman singing a predominantly Black genre, but great period. She approached the culture with genuine talent and was accepted by the core audience because of her beautiful voice and authenticity....

In the joint below, Square Biz--my favorite Lady T song--she gives a shout out to Shakespeare, Nikki Giovanni and Maya Angelou for all of us literary heads.

We love you Square Biz! Take your Rest.
